The Newtown Friends School after-school club program (pre-K–grade 8) provides age-appropriate enrichment activities and learning opportunities designed to encourage students to explore and develop new skills and share their talents and interests with the NFS community. The program attracts nearly 150 children, most of whom are enrolled in two or more clubs.
Experienced instructors—NFS faculty and members of the local community—are committed to sharing their expertise in club topics and to providing the best possible learning experience for each student. Recent club offerings have included Chinese, guitar, yoga, chess, acting, Legos, ballet, fishing, golf, and Lego robotics.
Clubs typically meet one day a week, Monday–Friday 3:30–4:30.
