Diversity Roundtable

Is it Cancel Culture or Consequence Culture? Are we really cancelling people and history or are we canceling, sexism, racism, ableism, homophobia, etc.?  What does it mean to reframe items from the past?  Should Dr. Seuss be gone for good?  Does taking down statues remove that piece of history?

Join the Diversity Committee as we discuss this “hot button” issue.  We will talk about Cancel Culture and whether it is something new or just a new name for the old habit of shedding old ways of thinking for new ways.  We hope to explore this topic from different viewpoints and share our own perspectives with one another.
