School Committee Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee

The School Committee Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Committee is composed of board members and school staff.  The task of the DEI Committee is to define the strategic initiatives regarding diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice for the Newtown Friends School community.  This committee will also provide resources to and oversight of the inclusion and robust integration of DEI initiatives in all aspects of the upcoming 2023 NFS Strategic Plan.  The DEI Committee meets once a month and reports quarterly to the full School Committee.
