About NFS

Summer Camp

This summer, George School Day Camp is expanding their camp to include the Newtown Friends School campus!  NFS will serve as the home base for the Lower Camp Division (campers ages 4-6).  George School Day Camp welcomes campers ages 4-14 to participate in a broad range of activities such as archery, zip lining, and swimming, with access to athletic fields, tennis courts, a state-of-the-art athletics center, and so much more.  Click here for a brochure.
While Newtown Friends will host the youngest campers, George School has additional programming for older students.  Click here for a brochure.

Summer Academy offers in-person summer enrichment courses designed to help students entering 6th – 9th grades explore new subjects and build critical skills. Courses are taught by exceptional teachers and experts in their fields and include a Writer’s Workshop, Middle School Book Club, Leadership and Public Speaking, Math Bridge Courses (Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Geometry), and Robotics.

George School Sports Camps help young athletes improve their skills and gain confidence while having fun. Our program line-up includes boys’ and girls’ basketball, equestrian, football, and soccer. Our goal is to educate athletes of all skill levels and give them the tools to be successful in their sport. The sports camps are run by George School head coaches, all of whom have experience as college athletes and/or as coaches at the high school or collegiate level.
