Admissions Welcome

We’re so glad you are considering Newtown Friends School. It’s my privilege to introduce children and their families to this vibrant and welcoming learning community. It’s a place where I’ve seen countless students flourish as teachers nurture both their hearts and their minds. It’s a place that parents tell us feels like home, because of the positive values that set us apart.

Perhaps this sounds like the kind of school you’ve been hoping to find, a place where you can feel confident that your child will be known, loved, and valued.

While it’s important for you to learn about the academic strength and mission of our school, there’s nothing more helpful than an in-person visit to understand the Newtown Friends School difference. Whether you have questions, want to schedule a tour, or are ready to apply, I’d love to help!

Warmest regards,

Rebecca Niszczak
Director of Enrollment Management

  • Individual Visits

Newtown Friends School has opened the 2020-2021 school year with students learning on-campus, remotely and in hybrid modes.

For the health and safety of our students and staff on-campus, we are unable to host large events such as Open Houses. We invite you, however, to schedule an individual family tour.   Prospective families may contact our Director of Enrollment Management, Rebecca Niszczak  by email or phone (215)-968-2225.

Quaker or Not, You’re Family

Newtown Friends School is a welcoming community rooted in rich Quaker traditions and values. But you don't have to be a Quaker to be part of our family. We’re a private, independent school, reflecting a diverse and inclusive school community. Families love our emphasis on kindness, equality, acceptance, and service.

What Other Factors Influence Admission?

NFS makes every attempt to meet each student’s needs. We take great care in considering applicants and listening to parents as we make enrollment decisions. There are times when we find that a student has difficulties with behavior, emotional stability, or learning differences that are beyond the scope of NFS’s capabilities.
